When and When Not to Use Blonde Shampoo.

Lately, here at Capelli Lounge Hair Salon I’ve had a few clients come in with mixed results from using blonde shampoo. Some have been overusing it, which can make their hair appear dull — especially if it’s already been toned with an ash toner. When blonde shampoo is used too often, it can build up on the hair instead of brightening it, leaving it looking muddy and lifeless.

Blonde shampoo should be used as a supporting step in your haircare routine, not as your everyday shampoo. Its purpose is to help neutralize brassy or yellow tones and protect your blonde from pollution, but moderation is key. Used correctly, it will keep your blonde looking fresh and vibrant without creating unwanted buildup

At Capelli Lounge Hair Salon Kevin Murphy Blonde Angel Wash has been our go to blonde shampoo for over a decade. Here is a link to Kevin Murphy site on how and why to use Blonde Shampoo.
